SOS Walk 2017

You’ve probably heard about Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, but did you know that it’s the number one genetic killer of young boys worldwide? Most will be confined to a wheelchair by the time they are 12, there is no cure, and no one survives.

One of these children is 12-year-old Emilio Eid. His father, Elie will be walking 300km around Port Phillip Bay in Melbourne to raise vital funds to help children with this debilitating condition. It’s called the Walk to Save our Sons, and it’s happening soon, on March 21-31.

Our very own Michael Malak is joining them! He will be walking from Vic Market through to Sorrento then finishing at Melbourne Crown Riverwalk over 10 days in what will no doubt be an incredibly gruelling and emotional journey.

Your support would be greatly appreciated, please make a donation to support him on this epic journey. It’s not going to be easy, but there is no better cause than the lives of beautiful children like Emilio.
